Terms of Service
Version: pending counsel review. Effective on publication.
The full Terms of Service for SmallSwap v2 is pending review by counsel. The required disclosures are specified in docs/specs/08-affiliates-legal.md §B in the project repository and will be published here once finalized.
Until then, the swap behavior is governed by the v1 terms at smallswap.app/terms.
Self-custody wallets — what counts, what doesn't
You must send your swap output to a self-custody wallet. The following address types will result in loss of funds:
- Centralized exchange deposit addresses (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, etc.)
- Smart-contract wallets (Safe / Gnosis, account-abstraction wallets)
- Delegated addresses or relay-controlled addresses
- EIP-7702 wallets (account-abstraction on EOAs)
If your receiving address fits any of these categories, the swap output is not recoverable by us or by you.
Sanctions screening
SmallSwap screens every swap address against the OFAC SDN list at swap creation and again at deposit receipt. Flagged swaps are refunded to the refund address. We do not freeze, hold, or seize funds. If a swap is refused because a flag triggered, your funds return to you.
Deposit window
You have 60 minutes from swap creation to send your deposit. After this window expires, the deposit address is no longer monitored. Funds sent after expiry are returned to the refund address where possible; if no refund address was set or the refund cannot be executed, recovery is not guaranteed.
